Flynn said the victim was flown to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson with non life-threatening injuries.

Authorities would not make public any additional information about the incident, including the name of the person charged, the person’s sex, charges or the relationship between the two, if any.

A person who answered the phone and identified himself as a manager at the motel said he didn’t know any details about the incident.
