Nine Year Old Publishes Third Book

Atlanta, Dec 6, 2018 ( – Fourth-grader Namani A. Morant may only be nine years old, however, youth hasnt deterred this young lady from pursuing her dreams. Namanis first two books This Color and The Alphabet were written for early readers still learning the fundamentals. Her latest work; The Christmas Countdown is written for older readers branching into chapter books with more developed plots.  Main character Scarlet like most children, is anxiously counting the days till Christmas.  Her family will be spending Christmas in New York City and Scarlet couldnt be more excited!  Macys Christmas windows and Rockefeller Center, to name a few are on Scarlets list of must dos.  Readers will enjoy New York City at Christmas time through the magical lens of childhood.

Namani Morant loves to read and write and is determined to write more books. Writing apparently runs in the family as Namani is the daughter of author Nefretiti Morant. When asked what inspired this book Namanis responds;

I know how important reading is to learning. I wanted to write a book that kids like me would enjoy reading!
